Creating an Application for the Sub-district Municipality for the Management of Shuttle Bus for the Elderly to the Hospitals

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to create an application for the management of shuttle bus for the elderly to the hospitals of the sub-district municipality; and 2) to evaluate the application. It was an action research. There were 4 steps of research method which were as follows : 1) problem analysis was done by studying information about the project of shuttle buses for the elderly and working systems used in management; 2) program design was conducted by  using the data obtained from the study and analysis to write an algorithm; 3) for programming, it was creating an application for managing the shuttle bus for the elderly to the hospital of the sub-district municipality; and 4) it terms of testing and editing program, when the application was completed, it had been tested with the community by testing at the Salokbat Sub-district Municipality, Kamphaeng Phet Province with a sample of 30 people by means of purposive sampling using the technique of randomly distributing questionnaires. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean. The results of the research found that 1) an application for the management of shuttle bus for the elderly to the hospitals of the sub-district municipality consisted of the application entry screen,  emergency call screen and moving patients and the application menu screen and booking a car queue for pick-up and delivery; and 2) in terms of the evaluation of the application, user feedback assessment form was used. It was found that in the aspect of the ability of the application for the user, application design, and efficiency, there was a high level of satisfaction.
