Development of Learning Achievements on Creative Dramatic Arts using Choreography in Dance for Senior High School Students in Schools under the Samutsakhon Samutsongkhram Secondary Education Service Area Office

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop learning achievements on Creative Dramatic Arts by learning management using Choreography in Dance for senior high school students to meet the 80 percent criteria; 2) to seek progress in learning on Creative Dramatic Arts using Choreography in Dance for Senior High School Students; 3) comparison of learning achievement of senior high school students on Creative Dramatic Arts between learning management using Choreography in Dance and conventional learning management; 4) comparison of satisfaction of senior high school students towards learning management on Creative Dramatic Arts between learning management using Choreography in Dance and conventional learning management. It was a quasi-experimental research. The research sample consisted of Mathayomsuksa 5 students at Ampawan Wittayalai School, Samut Songkhram Province, 2nd semester, academic year 2021, 2 classrooms of 60 students. The tools used in the research consisted of a teaching set, a learning management plan, achievement test and the student satisfaction assessment form. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results of the research showed that 1) in terms of the development of learning achievement of senior high school students on Creative Dramatic Arts, after that learning management using Choreography in Dance accounted for 91.5 percent, which was 80 percent more effective than the specified criteria; 2) learning progress on Creative Dramatic Arts  by learning management using Choreography in Dance was 0.8338, higher than the specified criteria by more than 50 percent; 3) students who studied on Creative Dramatic Arts  by learning management using Choreography in Dance had learning achievement that was significantly higher than the conventional learning management at the .01 level; and 4) students who studied on Creative Dramatic Arts  by learning management using Choreography in Dance had a statistically significantly greater satisfaction than the conventional learning management method at the .01 level.
