Development of an Internal Quality Assurance Model in Schools of Secondary Schools Administrators under the Nakhon Sawan Secondary Educational Service Area Office according to Dutiyapapanikasutta

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current conditions of an Internal Quality Assurance model; 2) to develop a model of Internal Quality Assurance in schools of the secondary school administrators under the Office of Education Service Areas according to Dutiyapapanikasutta; 3) to evaluate an Internal Quality Assurance model of  the secondary school administrators under the Nakhon Sawan Secondary Educational Service Area Office according to Dutiyapapanikasutta. This research was a qualitative research consisting of 3 steps: 1) A study of the current conditions of the Internal Quality Assurance model in schools by synthesizing the self-assessment report of schools. Data were collected from 25 key informants by using a semi-structured interview form and conducting content analysis; 2) On developing an Internal Quality Assurance model in schools of administrators, 11 key informants were conducted by using a group discussion, a group chat log and conducting content analysis; 3) In terms of evaluation of an Internal Quality Assurance model in schools of administrators who were 15 key informants. The tools used were the assessment form for validity, suitability, feasibility of implementation and benefits. The statistics used were mean and standard deviation as well as content analysis. The results of the research were as follows: 1) on the current conditions of an Internal Quality Assurance model, there was a model of management according to the quality cycle (PDCA); 2) the development of an Internal Quality Assurance model in schools of the secondary school administrators under the Nakhon Sawan Secondary Education Service Area Office according to Dutiyapapanikasutta consisted of 3 aspects, 9 patterns, 95 activities by using  the Quality Cycle Management (PDCA) with the participation of all parties, building a network of all parties, decentralization to all parties, building responsibility and emphasizing the heart of using Dutiyapapanikasutta; 3) the results of the assessment of an Internal Quality Assurance model in schools of the secondary school administrators under the Nakhon Sawan Secondary Educational Service Area Office according to Dutiyapapanikasutta, accuracy, appropriateness, feasibility of practice and benefits in 3 aspects, 9 forms were at the highest level.
