Development of Learning Achievement on Vegetable and Fruit Carving with Rose Pattern Using Video Media for Prathomsuksa 6 Students at Anubanmanang School, Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to develop learning achievement on vegetable and fruit carving with rose pattern using video media of Prathomsuksa 6 students at Anubanmanang School, Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 to meet the specified criteria, 80 percent; 2) to study the learning progress on vegetable and fruit carving with rose pattern using video media of Prathomsuksa 6 students at Anubanmanang School, Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1; 3) to study the opinions of Prathomsuksa 6 students on vegetable and fruit carving with rose pattern using video media. The research design was a quasi-experimental research by using a single sample. There were pre- and post-tests. The population used in the research were 50 Prathomsuksa 6 students at Anubanmanang school, Manang District, Satun Province in the second semester of the academic year 2021. The research tools consisted of (1) lessons, (2) lesson plans, (3) video media, (4) skill assessment form, (5) test and (6) questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results of the research were as follows: 1) learning achievements on vegetable and fruit carving with rose pattern by using video media of Prathomsuksa 6 students at Anubanmanang School, overall, was 88.4 percent, higher than the specified criteria of 80 percent; 2) learning progress of Prathomsuksa 6 students learning on vegetable and fruit carving with rose pattern using video media was 75.31%; and 3) the opinions of Prathomsuksa 6 students towards learning on vegetable and fruit carving with rose pattern found that the overall opinions had an average score of 2.9±0.29, in a very agreeable level.
