Abstract

This academic article aimed to study 10 sutras that Buddhists have to study only the teachings of the Lord Buddha and ways to prevent Antaradhana (deterioration) of Buddhism. It was found that 2600 years had passed since the Lord Buddha had enlightened. The Buddhist teachings became more diverse. There were many different schools that each school had their own opinions, so it was impossible to find standards. Even if they said the same thing. This was not because the Lord Buddha's teachings were incomplete. And he also told how to prevent and resolve the cause of Antaradhana (deterioration) of the Dharma that he had already preached. It's time for Buddhists to have only one standard, which was "Buddhavacana", Dharma and Vinaya that came out of the mouth of the Lord Buddha.
