A Model of Innovative Leadership for School Administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission

Abstract
The objectives of this research article were 1) to analyze the components of innovative leadership of school administrators; 2) to create an innovative leadership model of school administrators; and 3) to evaluate the innovative leadership model of school administrators. There were 3 research steps as follows: Step 1 was to analyze the components of innovative leadership of school administrators. The samples were 379 directors under the Office of Primary and Secondary Educational Service Areas. The tools used consisted of a record form, a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.976. EFA statistical components were analyzed. Step 2 was to create an innovative leadership model of school administrators by seminars based on 11experts. Step 3 was to assess the innovative leadership model of school administrators by collecting data from 20 experts and qualified persons. Data were obtained by purposive sampling from determining qualifications, consisting of directors of educational institutions with Expert Level Teachers or directors of educational institutions with doctoral degrees of secondary schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office. The results of the research were as follows: 1) the results of the components analysis of the innovative leadership of administrators consisted of 7 components: (1) risk management, (2) use of technology, (3) promotion of creativity, (4) creation of an innovative organization, (5) vision, (6) role, and (7) teamwork 2) the results of creating an innovative leadership model of school administrators consisted of 3 parts: part 1 was introduction, namely 1) basic concepts and principles of model and 2) objectives of model; part 2 was the content, namely components of model; and part 3 was application, namely 1) guidelines 2) conditions for success; and 3) the results of the evaluation of the innovative leadership model of school administrators found that innovative leadership model of school administrators had accuracy, suitability, possibility and usefulness, overall at the highest level.
