Community Adaptation to the New Normal in the COVID Outbreak Situation in Ratchaburi Province

Abstract
The purposes of this research article were 1) to follow up on lifestyle behavior, adjustment, and anxiety and learning of the people in the COVID Outbreak Situation in Ratchaburi Province; 2) to develop a process for creating learning in adapting of the new normal community in Ratchaburi province; and 3) to find guidelines for setting up joint preventive measures between Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University and related agencies in Ratchaburi Province. It was a mixed methods research by using a purposive sampling, namely Suan Phueng District, Ban Pong District, and Mueang Ratchaburi District. The population and sample totaled 530 samples using questionnaires to analyze the data with descriptive statistics. For qualitative research, it was a purposive sampling using semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was done from the interviews to analyze to draw conclusions and support the results of the quantitative analysis. The results of the research found that 1) lifestyle behavior, adjustment, anxiety and learning in terms of economics, income, expenses, burdens and savings of households were the highest due to reduced work hours and no part-time work resulting in a large decrease in income; 2) the process of creating learning in adapting to the new normal community in the case study of "O-poi Market, New Normal Community Market" had a total of 4 steps: The first step was to inform the most important matters first so that the public had the most common understanding; Step 2 was to set goals by comparing them with other tourist areas; Step 3 was to issue measures and divide responsibilities among responsible persons according to their abilities and available resources; Step 4 was to evaluate from the use of technology; 3) cooperation in the form of a network between government agencies in the area, the public sector, and Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University were to the use of information system databases to search for vulnerable groups, such as the correct methods for controlling and preventing COVID for stateless groups, dissemination of fast and accurate information to the elderly group.
