Management according to the Mission of Organizing Communication Lines in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province of the Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, Region 15 (NBTC, Region 15)

Abstract

The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province of the office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, Region 15; 2) to compare the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province of NBTC Office, Region 15 classified by personal factors; and 3) to present the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province of NBTC Office, Region 15. It was a mixed-methods research, divided into 2 steps. Step 1 was a quantitative research. The total population in the research was the group that was directly and indirectly involved in communication line organization, who were aware of the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, totaling 110 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire in the form of a 5-level rating scale, with a reliability coefficient of 0.918 for the whole questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. Step 2 was a qualitative research. The informants were the executive group of the NBTC offices in the area, including the director of the NBTC office Region 15, the executives of the Provincial Electricity Authority, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and the executives of telecommunication operators, totaling 8 people, who were specifically selected. The instrument was a semi-structured interview. Data was analyzed by creating conclusions and analyzing content. The research results found that 1) the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines, overall was at the highest level; 2) age, education level, personnel type, monthly income, work experience, and related departments were different. Their opinions on the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines were significantly different at the .05 level; 3) the guidelines of the management according to the mission of organizing communication lines found that the NBTC office Region 15 should have criteria for selecting reliable committees to jointly evaluate the performance by using an evaluation method of the administration that was appropriate for the mission.
