Learning management of Historical site reservation law in awareness raising of Chiangsaen municipality area youth Chiangrai province.

Abstract

This research aims to study the law concerning the conservation and maintenance of ancient monuments. and to study the model of learning management of ancient site conservation law for youths in Wiang Chiang Saen Sub-District Municipality Chiang Saen District Chiang Rai. It is a qualitative research focusing on documentary research and in-depth interviews. From the study, it was found that important laws in the conservation of ancient monuments and antiquities are (1) Act on Antiques, Antiques, Objects of Art and National Museums, B.E. 2504 (1961), which is a law that states the preservation of ancient control registration of ancient monuments Penalties for violating the law as well as the powers and duties of the competent official The Director-General of the Fine Arts Department and the Minister of Culture will oversee the compliance with this law. (2) the Municipality Act, B.E. 2496 (1953), which is a law stating the general powers and duties of the Wiang Chiang Saen Sub-District Municipality in the development of the area of ​​responsibility; (3) the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. Thai people in helping to preserve the ancient sites and antiques of the nation. And from the study, it was found that the learning management model required a legal knowledge lecture activity by using a video clip featuring the actor as a net idol of Chiang Saen District. together with lectures by students and professors from the School of Law and there are activities to test knowledge by using simulations of various ancient sites in the ancient city of Chiang Saen. From the achievement assessment, it was found that the students who participated in the project to test their knowledge of the law of conservation of ancient monuments had higher scores, representing 63% of the total students. It shows that this learning management model is a suitable model for creating a learning management model for the ancient site conservation law to raise awareness among youths in Wiang Chiang Saen Sub-District Municipality.
