The Water Resource Management: The Groundwater Bank Concept from Community of Koakham, Ubon Ratchathani to Nongmamong, Chainat

Abstract
Groundwater bank is a concept of creating a reservoir for recycling by using the absorption of rock beneath the ground surface with water or the transmission of groundwater. Groundwater Bank is therefore a new option for successfully solving drought problems in California, USA. For Thailand, over the years, the concept of groundwater bank has been implemented for a period of time, which has both success and failure. This article aims at the concept of successful groundwater bank management of Kao Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province and Nongmamong Subdistrict Administration Organization, Chainat Province. The results found there are 9 management concepts including: (1) Collect data on water resources, communities, and weather conditions of the country. (2) Determining the direction of groundwater in watersheds at community level. (3) Penetration of soil surveys to ensure efficient water replenishment operations. (4) Plan and set the water filling system point in the map of the sub-district water map. (5) Design groundwater banking systems according to the conditions or context of the area. (6) operate with the construction plan (7) Monitoring and evaluation of quantitative data, quality, and water utilization. (8) Summary, analyze problems, obstacles, opportunities, and expand the results, connect with other projects in the area. And (8) Expanding the results to the locality of every community in Thailand.
