THE EDUCATION OF LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF LEARNING OUTCONIES ON PROBLEM AND GROUP WORK BEHAVIOR IN CONGRUENT SOLVING OF 5 GRADE STUDENTS TAUGHT BY TAI TECHNIQUE TOGETHER WITH THE POLYA PROCESS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) To develop a learning management plan in problem and group work behavior unit of grade 5 students through Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) and the Polya problem-solving process to be efficient with the criterion of 75/75; 2) To compare the learning achievement in problem and group work behavior unit of grade 5 students before and after using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) and the Polya problem-solving process;  and 3) To study group work behavior of grade 5 students that received learning management through Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) and the Polya problem-solving process. The target groups were 12 grade 5 students studying in the second semester of academic year 2019 at Ban Srasilieam school. The length of this trial was 16 hours. The research tools included: 1) eight learning management plans with the duration of 16 hours; 2) twenty items of achievement test; and 3) formats for observing the group work behavior. Findings of this research were as the followings:

1) The efficiency of learning management plan through collaborative learning using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) and the Polya problem-solving process in group work behavior of grade 5 students was in accordance with the criterion of 75/75. 2) The learning achievement after using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) and the Polya problem-solving process in group work behavior of grade 5 students was higher than before using the technique that was statistically significant at the level of .05 3) The overall aspects of group work behavior of grade 5 students that received cooperative learning through the TAI technique and the Polya problem-solving process were at the highest level.
