The Management for Thai Community Development in Information Technology World

Abstract

There are two objectives of this article including: 1) To study and analyze information and context of the Thai community development administration in the current world; and 2) To analyze and synthesize the Thai community development administration to achieve its highest efficiency in the era of technology information (IT). From studying academic papers, researches, articles and databases from reliable sources, it was found that the current world has been under endlessly changing context amidst severe competitions. Thailand is, therefore, necessary to be developed towards its progressiveness and modernity for the balanced happiness among all sectors of the people.  Whilst searching for the most efficient approach of community development administration in the era of information technology, the administrators or related parties in the Thai community development administration need to apply the world academic principles and Buddha Dhamma principles including: participation, self-reliance, consciousness and responsibility, lifelong learning, Trisikkha (the Threefold Learning) and Matchimapatipatha (the Middle Path) as the guidelines for community development administration in the era of information technology that will lead to sustainable development in various aspects of the country.
