School Administrators in the 21st Century following Sappurisa-dhamma 7

Abstract

School administrators are professional personnel performing principal duties in teaching and learning administration and encouragement of learners including personnel in schools in order to develop learners to be healthy in body, mentality, intellect, knowledge, morality and livelihood that they can live happily with others. According to the changing circumstances in the 21^st century from economic volatility, emerging diseases, entering aging society, a rapid change in technology and innovation, climate variability, natural resource and environment deterioration and natural disasters, both government and private organizations are affected and they have to be adaptable for survival and be suitable for the situation. School administrators, as leaders, need to reform themselves by using Sappurisa-dhamma 7 as a means of reformation in order to lead the schools to achieve their goals. They need to manage educational resources with efficiency and balance in order to attain the planned targets.
