Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) Study a multi-level model of causal factors that influence the academic administration effectiveness of world-class standard school under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Areas in Bangkok. 2) Study management of multi-level model to promote the effectiveness of academic administration of world-class standard school under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Areas in Bangkok.  3 Groups (levels) of sample consisted of 1,360 students, 136 classrooms, and 34 schools, selected by multi-stage sampling. The informants were students, teachers and school administrators. Instruments used in the research were tests and questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's Correlation and Linear Regression Analysis by HLM 8.0.

              Research results were: 1) Multilevel model was consistent with the empirical data (Model Fit). There were some important causal factors: 5 factors at student level, 4 factors at classroom level, and 2 factors at school level, the model could explained academic administration effectiveness of international standard schools under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Areas in Bangkok more than 50%. 2). Management of multi-level model to promote the effectiveness of international standard schools, assessed by experts  were  average of 93.35 to 94.29 for each aspect , while the average of total was 94.11% (criteria 70/75%).
