Effects of Local Wisdom activities for Enhancing the Life skill of the early childhood

Abstract

The objective of this research was to 1) study the result of the implement by using Local Wisdom activities to enhancing the Life skill of early childhood and 2) compare the Life skill of early childhood student before and after the implement of Local Wisdom activities. The sample included 18 students, ages between 5-6 years old, studying in the second term of the year of Pre-Primary School at Plaiamnuaywit, Si Narong District, Surin Province. The school was under a supervision of Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, in the year of 2563 B.E. The Simple Random Sampling was select by using. The experiment was conducted in a period of 8 weeks, in Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 09.10 – 10.00 AM. The research tools were 24 Local Wisdom activities plans and Life skill Test. The statistics included mean, standard deviation and t-test (dependent-samples t-test analysis)

              The research findings were as follow:The Life skill of Kindergarten 3 by implementing Local Wisdom Activities was at the high level, as a whole and in each aspects and after the implement of the activities found to be higher than before the implementation Local Wisdom Activities statistically significant at .01 level.
