Development of an Automotive Air Conditioning Training Package in Project-based Learning on Mechanics Compressor for the First Year Students of Vocational Certificate

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to developan automotive air conditioning training package in Project-based Learning on mechanics compressor for the first year students of vocational certificate of Det Udom Technical College Ubonratchathani province according to performance criteria 80/80 2) to compare the achievements before and after study 3)to study the satisfaction of using an automotive air conditioning training package in Project-based Learning on mechanics compressor for the first year students of vocational certificate .The sample in the research was the first year vocational certificate students in an automotive Mechanics major of Det Udom Technical College, Ubon Ratchathani Province total  23 people. The instruments in the research were  1) 3 sets of an automotive air conditioning training package 2) 3 of lesson plans  3) 20 itemquestion (difficulty - p) among 0.78-0.80 and (discriminant - r) among 0.27-0.36 4).The satisfaction  questionnaire towards the skill learning  by using project based learning the statistical  power (rxy) was between  0.35 - 0.72 and the confidence value was 0.82. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage mean standard deviation and t -test dependent sample,

The results of the research showed that:

1. An automotive air conditioning training kit for project management as a base for mechanics compressor for the first year students of vocational certificate the efficiency of the research was 84.15 / 83.48 higher above the 80/80 benchmark.


2. The first year students of vocational certificate who study with an automotive air conditioning training paekage pretest a statistically higher paetest at the .05 level which is based on assumptions  established.


3. First year students of vocational certificate were satisfied with their studies with the skill test overall at the highest level.
