Abstract

Education subject “Factors for Building a Peaceful Community Among Multiculturalism in the South Isan” Its objectives are to study the social context in a multicultural society. The sample group in this study is 1) Wat Phoyoi Ban Yang community, Ban Yang sub-district, Lam Plai Mat district Buriram Province 2) Ban Or Udomsin community, Plai sub-district, Lamthamenchai district Nakhon Ratchasima Province 3) Sirichan Temple Community, Tenmee Subdistrict, Mueang Surin District Surin Province And 4) Wat Sawang Arom Community Prasat Thanong Sub-district, Prasat District, Surin Province. Using qualitative research methods The instruments used for data collection were self-created interviews. The results of the research were as follows: 1. The social context of the four target communities It is an old community, adhering to ancient traditions and culture. Have faith in the sacred which is invisible Worship the spirits of the ancestors. And follow the twelve-month tradition of the Isan region As for the dress that has changed in the times But when the community has an activity, it will dress appropriately according to that tradition. The spoken language still preserves the dialect of communication as well. And community leaders are strong Have knowledge and ability to lead the community to development 2. Factors contributing to the creation of a peaceful community in a multicultural society were found that 1) Community leaders will mediate conflicts with fairness. 2) Government agencies will settle the preliminary conflict. By providing the rules of the village 3) Activities that create a peaceful community are visiting temples, housewarming, funerals, and village development together 4) The factor contributing to peace in the community is wisdom or ancient teachings.
