INNOVATION OF MODERN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

The on-going technological changes at present and in the future have been rapidly changing in comparison to the past. As a result, the changes have a profound impact on the school administration. For the school administration to be effective according to the standards through various processes according to the contexts of available resources and potentials, it requires cooperation from all parties concerned including community leaders, parents, the general public and local organizations. It is imperative that the schools clearly establish their own directions and goals and implement according to the specified directions. The outcomes of the implementation according to the directions and goals of the schools will be more effective. Therefore, the school administrators need to change their attitudes and concepts towards their administration to keep pace with the constantly changing situations in order that the schools will be modernized and can be managed with quality in all aspects. The administration of the school administrators, therefore, needs to be well understood on innovation of school administration including: School-Based Management: SBM; Learning Organization: LO; Knowledge Management: KM; Co-operate Networking; Professional Learning Community: PLC; School Digitalized Administration; and Process of Administration.
