THE STUDY ON TECHNOLOGICAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINITRATORS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE IN SI SA KET AND YASOTHON PROVINCES

Abstract

This research included the following objectives: (1) to study the technological  leadership of school administrators; (2) to compare the technological leadership of school administrators; and (3) to study the guidelines in development of technological  leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area in Sisaket and Yasothon Provinces.  The sample groups used in this research were  346 people and the sampling size was determined by using Krejcie and Morgan Table. The tools used in this research were the 5 rating scale questionnaires. Statistics used for analyzing data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test on the difference pair test of Scheffe’s method. The research finding were as follows. 1) The overall technological  leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area of Sisaket and Yasothon Provinces was at a high level. When it was considered by aspect, all of them were at high level. 2) Results of overall status comparison of technological leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area of Sisaket and Yasothon Provinces were not different.  However, the overall comparisons of work experience and size of schools were different with statistically significant at .05 level. 3) Guidelines in the development of technological leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area of Sisaket and Yasothon Provinces included:  (1) development through periodic in-service training and promotion of teaching and learning technological innovation media design and competition; (2) self-development in leadership with visionary on technology, study visits will enhance school administrators to have a driving force and initiatives; (3) development through competency test in using technology in administration of school administrators; (4) development of technological management and practice, support of technological utilization through budget allocation for continuous learning in technology; (5) development of knowledge and competence in educational measurement and evaluation; (6) development through workshop, seminar, occupational knowledge sharing, a push on ethical policy in utilizing technology; and (7) being a role model in morally using technology and refraining from violating of using computer resources without one’s own rights.
