OPERATION OF THE MORAL SCHOOL PROJECT UNDER THE SATUN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

The objectives of this study were aimed to: 1) Study the operation of the Moral School Project of educational institutions under the Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office, 2) Compare of the operation of the Moral School Project under the Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office according to the opinions of school administrators and teachers; classified by position, work experience, and school size, and 3) Study the problems and suggestions about the operation of the Moral School Project of the educational institutions according to the opinions of school administrators and teachers under the Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample group consisted of 17 school administrators and 181 teachers. The research tool was a questionnaire which was characterized by a 5-level rating scale. The confidence   value was equal to 0.95 The statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and double testing with Scheffe's Method and LSD. The results of the research showed that: 1) the operation of the Moral School Project of the educational institutions under the office Satun Primary Education Service Area Office according to the opinions of school administrators and teachers, both overall and each aspect, were at a high level. 2) Operation of the Moral School Project under the Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office according to the opinions of school administrators and teachers with different positions, there were no different opinions. School administrators and teachers with different work experience had different opinions with statistically significant at the .05 level. 3) Problems and recommendations related to the operation of the Moral School Project of the educational institutes under the Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office, it was found that the main problem was teachers and students did not understand the process of the operation of the Moral School Project. Then the solution was school administrators should promote and develop teachers, students, parents, and communities to create awareness and understanding according to the process of operation of the Moral School Project.
