ROLE PLAY ACTIVITY TO ENHANCE PRESCHOOLERS’ LANGUAGE SKILL

Abstract

The objective of this research is to 1) study the result of the implement of Role Play Approach Activity to Enhance Preschoolers’ Language skill 2) compare to Enhance Preschoolers’ Language skill before and after the implementation of Role Play activities. The sample included 25 students, ages 3-4 years old, during the year’s second term at the Pre-Primary School at pathumwittakorn, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The school was under the supervision of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, in the year 2563 B.E. The experiment was conducted in a period of 4 weeks, from Monday through Friday, between 09.20 – 10.00 a.m. The research tools were 20 lesson plans based on Role Play, evaluation form on language skills and the statistics included mean, standard deviation and t-test (dependent-samples t-test analysis) The research findings were as follow: 1) The Preschoolers’ Language skill by implementing Role Play Activity was at the high level. 2) The Preschoolers’ Language skill by implementing Role Play Activities, after the implement of the activities found to be higher than before the implementation Role Play Activities statistically significant at .01 level.
