PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN DANSAI DISTRICT, LOEI PROVINCE, ACCORDING TO SAPPURISADHAMA 7

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is a quantitative research. The researcher's objectives were 1) to study people's participation in local administration in Dan Sai District, Loei Province, according to Sappurisadhamma 7; 2) to compare people's participation in local government in Dan Sai District, Loei Province according to Sappurisadharma 7 and 3) to study the recommendations of people's participation in local administration in Dan Sai District, Loei Province, according to Sappurisadhamma 7, classified by gender, age, educational level, occupation, and total income. We also studied recommendations on people's participation in local governance in Dan Sai District, Loei Province according the Sappuriadhamma 7 line. The sample group used in this research was the population in Dan Sai District, Loei Province. Number 51, 147 people, the sample group used in this research which the researcher defined the sample by using Taro Yamane's table. A sample size of 397 participants was randomized. The results showed that  1) People in Dan Sai District, Loei Province had knowledge and understanding of participation in local administration as a whole at a high level. When considered in detail, it was found that the knowledge and understanding of the people in Dan Sai District, Loei Province in the aspect of Dhammayuta knowing the cause with the highest average value, followed by Parisanyuta, knowing the community, and the Puggalanyuta, knowing the person, respectively. 2) The results of the comparison of people's participation in local administration in Dan Sai District, Loei Province according to Sappurisadhamma 7 classified by sex, age, occupation, overall were not significantly different at the .05  3) Suggestions: People should receive the promotion of skills for people's participation in local administration in Dan Sai District, Loei Province according to Sappurisadhamma 7 by additional qualitative research and should study the promotion of people's participation skills in local administration in Dan Sai District, Loei Province according to Sappurisadhamma 7, in order to use the information obtained from research studies to develop people's participation skills in local governance in Dan Sai District, Loei Province according to Sappurisadhamma 7.
