THE EVALUATION OF SUPPORTING FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PROJECT BY USING THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY OF BAN BO HIN SCHOOL, THE OFFICE OF TRANG PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 2

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Supporting for the academic excellence project using the process of Professional Learning Community of Ban Bo Hin School under the office of Trang Primary Educational Service Area 2 with the CIPP assessment Model through 4 different aspects; context, input, process and product. The sample group was 159 persons, consisted of 69 students, 10 teachers, 9 school committees, 69 student parents, and 2 project administration committees. The instrument used to collected data were 6 questionnaires with 5 points scale and 1 recording form. The data was analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The findings of study were as follow: 1) The context evaluated by teachers, school committees and project administration committees was appropriate at the highest level. 2)  The input evaluated by teachers was at highest level. For the project administration committees was at the high level. 3)  The process evaluated by teachers and project administration committees was at the highest level. 4) The results of product evaluation was found that: (4.1) The achievable results of PLC process development evaluated by teachers and project administration committees were at the highest level and by the project administration committees were at a high level. (4.2) The teaching and learning development of teachers evaluated by teachers was appropriate at the highest level, and by the project administration committees was at a high level. (4.3)  The students learning achievement evaluated by teachers, school committees and student parents was at the highest level and by students was at a high level. 4.4)  The remarkable achievement of the 70th school network academic competition in 2020 of all joining competition programs were 100 percent got the prizes, especially 3 more golden medals increasing, whereas the prizes in 2019 were only 8 medals from 10 or 80 percent. Moreover, in the 70th Arts and Crafts competition in 2020, the school was a representative of the school network in 4 competition programs; one program more than the competition program in 2019.
