STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN VOTING, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, AND PERFORMANCE EFFECTIVENESS: THE STUDY OF PROVINCIAL ELECTION COMMISSION IN THE NORTH EASTERN

Abstract

This research had the following objects: 1) to study the level of strategic management in voting, civic engagement, and performance effectiveness in provincial election commission in the North Eastern 2) to analyze the relationship between strategic management in voting, civic engagement, and performance effectiveness in provincial election commission in the North Eastern 3) to study the strategic management in voting, civic engagement, and performance effectiveness in provincial election commission in the North Eastern. The samples were 394 members using Taro Yamane's formula who were at the provincial election commission. The researcher designed 80 items of a questionnaire. The statistics are frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, variance analysis and multi-regression analysis. The results show that 1) the election strategy management, civic participation and overall operational effectiveness were moderate ( = 3.47), followed by electoral strategy management ( = 3.56), and least on citizen participation ( = 3.20). 2) the election strategy management, civic participation and operational effectiveness were statistically corelated at .01 with the moderate to high level between 605-783. And 3) The influential electoral strategy management induces on civic participation and forecasts on the performance effective component. The F-test result of 4.640 (Sig. 000), by the standard score or predictive coefficients for each variable consisted of .331, .334 and .218. Additionally, all variables had moderate predictive influencer with and R²=.646 with an error .385 or a forecast reliability on .604 or had moderate influencer.
