SUFFERING AND CESSATION OF SUFFERING

Abstract
Physical and mental sufferings are the sufferings depended upon affecting factors such as physical happiness which arises from external contact. The way to end physical suffering is through building a healthy body by relying on a good environment. The mental suffering is often caused by the intoxication of emotions into the mind. The way to quench mental suffering requires building immunity or building understanding of ignorance, craving, and clinging in order to adjust the sense-restraint and conscious mind so that one feels neither pleased nor dissatisfied whenever one senses any sight, sound, smell, taste, touch and knowingly recognizes the mind-objects with the mental of relieving the sufferings.
