Development of Local Curriculum on Golden Banana in Thayang of Khueanphet school in Phetchaburi province Applying Participatory Action Research

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to research indigenous knowledge of golden bananas in Tha Yang, Province of Phetchaburi 2) Create a local lesson plan for Tha Yang of Khuean Phet School (Chonprathan Songkhro) about golden bananas, and 3) research the outcomes of Tha Yang's use of the local lesson plan. Khuean Phet School (Irrigation) is conducting research through participatory action. process. The target groups were 1 school administrator, 2 teachers, 13 students in grades 4-6, 5 local philosophers, 1 community leader, 1 chairman of the school committee, and parents. 25 individuals in all, 2 students. Learning accomplishment tests and interview forms were used as research tools. Practice the desirable features assessment form and the skill assessment form. Percentage, mean, and standard deviation were the statistics employed in data analysis. and content analysis was employed in the examination of qualitative data. The results indicated that

Tha Yang Phetchaburi Province local knowledge about golden bananas includes 1) the context of Tha Yang District, 2) the botanical characteristics of the Hom Thong Banana at Tha Yang, 3) the cultivation methods of the Hom Thong Banana at Tha Yang, 4) the processing of the Hom Thong Banana at Tha Yang, and 5) marketing.


2. Development of a local curriculum on golden bananas at Tha Yang Khuean Phet School in Phetchaburi Province includes curriculum components. Learning plans and learning units The curriculum trial results revealed that students had higher learning achievement after learning than before. Good practical skills were demonstrated by 48.65% of the students. and have desirable qualities at a high level The results of the curriculum evaluation found that the local curriculum was effective in accordance with the established principles and objectives.
