THE DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE LEARNING MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR ASEAN LANGUAGE COURSES OF KHON KAEN CAMPUS LANGUAGE INSTITUTE, MAHACHULALONGKORNRAJAVIDAYALAYA UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the problems and guidelines of online learning management for ASEAN Language Courses of the Language Institute, Khon Kaen Campus, (2) to develop an online learning model for ASEAN Language Courses of the Language Institute, Khon Kaen Campus. (3) to study the results of the experimental use of the developed online learning model; (4) to study the outcomes of using the said online learning model. In this research, the researcher used the R&D research method with a sample of 222 students. The research tools consisted of a questionnaire, an interview, a focus group, and a course guide. The statistics used in the research were: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test (dependent). The research results were as follows: The sample opinion towards the problem of online learning management for the ASEAN language course of the Language Institute, Khon Kaen Campus was statistically rated at the moderate level. The aspect with the lowest mean was the course management system. Guidelines for the development of an online learning management model were that a student-centered teaching strategy should be used; instructional design using various processes and during online teaching, the rules must be set clearly. The online learning management model for the ASEAN language course of the Khon Kaen Campus Language Institute consisted of (1) principles, (2) objectives, (3) content, (4) teaching and learning process (MRIAP model), (5) evaluation, and (6). ) Online education management system.The mean scores of the learning achievement test after learning of the target group were higher than before, with a statistical significance of .05. The satisfaction of the target group with learning management was at a high level in all aspects. The opinions of students toward the online learning management model for the ASEAN language course of the Language Institute, Khon Kaen Campus Overall was at a high level in all aspects. The opinions of the stakeholders on the outcomes of using the online learning model for ASEAN Language Courses, at Khon Kaen Campus Language Institute were generally at a high level in all aspects: efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.
