VISIONNARY LEADERSHIP IN SCHOOL UNDER BANGKOK METROPOLITAN : SOUTHERN KRUNGTHONBURI GROUP

Abstract

This research aims to study and compare the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration as classified by educational qualifications, work experience and school size. The sampling group of the research was from 341 teachers who teach in the school of South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in the 2022 Academic Year. The research instrument was  21 questionnaires about the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. There was the consistency between the questions and the objects (Index of Item Objective Congruence: IOC) about 0.60 – 1.00.Its reliability was of 0.847. The statistics used in this research were the mean (X), the standard deviation (S.D), T-test, One – way Analysis of Variance and the mean difference test of paired averages by Scheff’s method.The results of the research were the following 1) The study results of the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration that the overall and the individual aspect were at high level sorted from descending averages such as the vision implementation, the vision building , the vision dissemination and being a  good role model. 2) The comparison of the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration found that. 2.1 The school teachers who teach with the different educational backgrounds had their opinions on the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration the overall and the individual aspects were not different. 2.2 The school teachers who teach with the different work experiences had no different opinions on the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in the overall and the individual aspects. 2.3 The school teachers who teach in the school which different sizes had their opinions on the visionary leadership of the school administrators in South Krungthon’s Section under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration the overall and the individual aspect were significantly  difference at 0.5 level in statically.
