Infographic Media Development about a Professional Learning Community for 1st Year Undergraduate Students of the Faculty of Arts Education

Abstract

This research aims to develop infographic media about professional learning community for 1^st year undergraduate students of the Faculty of Arts Education, compare learning achievement before and after learning, and study the students’ satisfaction by learning with infographic media. The research population consisted of 117 students enrolled in the 300-21001 Professional Teachers course during the 1^st semester of the academic year 2021. The research instruments were Infographic Media Quality Assessment Form, a professional learning community test, and a questionnaire about students’ satisfaction with learning with infographic media. Data were analyzed in terms of basic statistics and hypothesis testing statistics t-test dependent sample.

The results of the research showed that:

1. Infographic media quality from the experts’ evaluation is at the highest quality level. (X̅ = 4.53, S.D. = 0.49) when considering each aspect, it was found that the assessment results were at the highest quality level in 2 aspects as follows: content (X̅ = 4.66, S.D. = 0.35) and image and display (X̅ = 4.59, S.D. = 0.46) and high level is presentation and content arrangement (X̅ = 4.33, S.D. = 0.65)


2. As a result of the infographic media the research achievement in the learning development of the group is significantly higher at the 0.05 level.

        3. As a result of the students’ satisfaction towards to the infographic media is at the highest quality level. (X̅ = 4.59, S.D. = 0.53) when considering each aspect, it was found that the assessment results were at the highest quality level in every aspects.
