THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATION COMPETENCY OF TEACHERS IN NACHALUAY NETWORK GROUP UNDER UBONRACHATHANI PRIMARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE 5

Abstract

The purposes of this research were  1) to study the capability about information technology and communication of teachers. 2) to study the recommendations on the method for improving the capability about information technology and communication of teachers. The sample group was a group of 79 teachers. at The research instrument was a 5-level estimation scale questionnaire 37 items with an ICO value between .67 – 1.00, discrimination in each item between .25 - .92 and reliability equal to .89. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean and standard deviation.The results of this research as follows 1. The capability about information technology and communication of teachers, in each aspect were at the highest level.2. The recommendations on the method for improving the capability about information technology and communication of teachers by the most frequent in four items as follows: 1) Teachers should be encouraged and developed by training and practice about the basic programs for used in the classroom. 2) Teachers should be encourage and develop teachers to be trained and practice about the law of information technology and communication in their work and daily life. 3) Teachers should  be encourage and develop teachers by training in a variety of teaching and learning management methods by using information technology and communication in teaching and learning management. 4) Teachers should encourage and develop teachers in personal and professional development.
