SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN KHONKAEN MUNICIPALITY

Abstract
The objectives of this research are to 1. Study the process of solid waste management in the area of Khon Kaen Municipality. 2. Propose guidelines for solid waste management in the area of Khon Kaen Municipality. Using qualitative research methods Use in-depth semi-structured interviews with stakeholders.Six sample groups using purposive sampling. And there is an interview tool that has open-ended questions. designed for stakeholders. The results of the study found that the current solid waste management process in the Khon Kaen Municipality area places importance on Waste management is prioritized in line with the concept of zero waste management according to the 5Rs principle, which emphasizes reducing use and reuse as much as possible and promoting landfill as little as possible. Especially encouraging waste separation to lead to waste processing for maximum benefit.
