School Management with the International Standard School Quality System to Promote Global Citizenship in the Doi Mon Jam Interdisciplinary Group under the Chiang Mai Secondary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

      The purpose of this research was to study the management of schools with the international standard school quality system to promote global citizenship in Doi Mon Jam Interdisciplinary Area under the Chiang Mai Secondary Educational Service Area Office and to suggest guidelines for the management of schools with the international standard school quality system to promote global citizenship in Doi Mon Jam Interdisciplinary Area under the Chiang Mai Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The sample group consisted of 162 school administrators and teachers. The data were collected in a mixed form. The research tools were a 5-level scale questionnaire  and an interview data record. The data was analyzed by determining the average, percentage and standard deviation.

       The results showed that the management of the school with the international standard school quality system to promote global citizenship in the Doi Mon Jam Interdisciplinary Area  under the Chiang Mai Secondary Educational Service Area Office in the year 2023, in overall, was at a high level. When considering each aspect in descending order of average values was as follows: organizational leadership, strategic planning, personnel focus, process management, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, learner and stakeholder focus, and outcomes, respectively .

       Guidelines for the development of school management of administrators and teachers in international standard schools in the Doi Mon Jam Interdisciplinary Area under the Chiang Mai Secondary Educational Service Area Office, were as follows; administrators should have clear achievement goals for students, teachers and parents, which is an important base for creating a vision. Educational opportunities should be created that cover all learners. It is important to be aware of the development, improvement of the curriculum and education management. There should be a system for collecting information that will be used to monitor performance. Personnel should be prepared for current changes. They should define issues in the development of school management through the international standard school quality system appropriately and monitor the preparation of school performance report every school year.
