INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE IN EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH NON-FORMAL EDUCATION STANDARDS, AFFILIATED WITH THE NORTHERN LEARNING ENCOURAGEMENT CENTERS, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MAE HONG SON PROVINCIAL OFFICE OF LEARNING ENCOURAGEMENT.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the implementation and find ways to improve internal quality assurance according to the standards of non-formal and informal education of schools in the Northern Learning Promotion Center under the Office of Learning Promotion, Mae Hong Son Province. The population included school administrators, teachers, and educational personnel in the academic year 2023, a total of 116 people and 9 qualified persons chosen by the purposive selection in a group discussion. The research tool was an internal quality assurance questionnaire and a group discussion data record. The statistic used in data analysis, including the mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.              

The results showed that the overall internal quality assurance operation was at a high level. On a side-by-side basis, it was found that it was at a high level in all aspects. The internal quality assurance development guidelines were: 1) The data should be synthesized into educational standards that are consistent with the identity of the school. 2) Important problems should be explored, analyzed, and problems should be identified to improve the operation. 3) There should be collect, store, and manage information in an organized manner, analyze information and use information to plan operations. 4) Supervision, monitoring, corrective, and improvement systems should be organized in accordance with the objectives and then report the summary. 5) Internal quality audit and review calendars should be established. Operational audit, policy compliance, and evaluation should be conducted then report results to relevant parties. 6) Information should be prepared and processed into the effective information. 7) The school should review the summary results from the detailed annual report, develop an improvement plan to address the problems encountered. 8)The school should reflect the results of the educational quality assessment, clearly plan the implementation to improve and develop the process.
