MANAGEMENT OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS TOWARDS EXCELLENCE IN THE DIGITAL AGE OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION IN BANGMUNNAK DISTRICT, PHICHIT PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the management of the Child Development Center for Excellence and the guidelines to develop the management of the Child Development Center for Excellence in the digital age of schools under the local government organization in Bangmunnak District, Phichit Province. The sample was 105 child development center personnel and 9 qualified persons chosen by the specific selection in a group discussion. Tools included questionnaires and group discussion, the data was analyzed by the statistics of mean, standard deviations, and content analysis.

The results showed that the overall level of management of the Child Development Center to Excellence was at a high level, all aspects were as follows; the leading of the organization, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, personnel focus, outcomes, implementation, early childhood and stakeholders focus, strategic planning and process management, respectively.

Guidelines for the development of child development centers to excellence were as follows; in terms of leading the organization, the administrators should clearly define policies or operational guidelines. In terms of strategic planning, they should study and analyze the environment both inside and outside the school. In terms of early childhood and stakeholders focus, they should explore the needs of students, parents, and the community. In terms of personnel focus, they should encourage personnel in the performance. In terms of process management, they should brainstorm ideas to collaborate on innovations to be used in the implementation. In terms of measurement, analysis, and knowledge management, technology should be used to disseminate school performance and implementation outcomes. Curriculum should be developed in accordance with the school context.
