MIXED METHODS RESEARCH DESIGNS IN BUDDHIST INNOVATION EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

          Mixed-methods research in Buddhist Innovation educational administration is a process that combines mixed-methods research with Buddhist ethical principles in a harmonious way. The aim is to create new knowledge that can lead to effective educational management. Various forms of research are used to explain the breadth and depth and confirm the research results. There are paradigms, namely positivism and phenomenology. Mixed-methods research is divided into 2 main groups, consisting of 1) the main mixed-methods research format, namely Convergent Design, Explanatory Sequential Design, and Exploratory Sequential Design, and 2) the complex form of mixed-methods research, namely Mixed Methods Experimental Design or Intervention Design, Mixed Methods Case Study Design, Mixed Methods Participatory-Social Justice Design, and Mixed Methods Evaluation Design. Researchers must understand the key characteristics and directions of each format in order to consider choosing a mixed-methods research format that is consistent and appropriate for the research issue.
