ACTUAL STATE AND EXPECTATION OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AMONG PUBLIC HEALTH TRAINEE, SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH, UNIVERSITY OF PHAYAO

Abstract

          The main purpose of this study were to compare the actual state and expectation of professional training among public health trainee, school of public health, University of Phayao. 104 participants were selected by purposive sampling who study programmed in health promotion at 3-4 year. Data were collected by using a questionnaire during April to March 2023. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics to describe the characteristics of participants, including frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation. Paired samples t-test were compared the actual state and expectation of professional training among public health trainee.

          The research results showed that the majority of participants were females (96.15%). In case of the actual state and expectation of professional training in knowledge abilities, intellectual skills, Interpersonal relations and responsibilities, numerical analysis, communication, and information technology were significant different at p<0.05. Thus, the training course and professional skills such as knowledge abilities, intellectual skills, Interpersonal relations and responsibilities, numerical analysis, communication, and information technology should provide for trainee before work.
