THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS’ ROLE IN ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION OF THE WORLD-CLASS STANDARD SCHOOLS UNDER THE OFFICE OF UNDER SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA UBON RATCHATHANI AMNAT CHAROEN

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study of the role of school administrators in academic administration of the World-Class Standard Schools , to compare the role of school administrators in academic administration of the World-Class Standard Schools as classified by the positions, educational backgrounds and working experiences , and to examine the guidelines to develop the role of school administrators in academic administration of the World-Class Standard Schools under the office of under secondary educational service area Ubon Ratchathani Amnat Charoen. The research findings were as follows. 1. The school administrators’ role in academic administration of the World-Class Standard Schools in the study was overall at high level. 2. School administrators’ role in academic administration of the World-Class Standard Schools compared, it was found that as classified by positions, educational backgrounds and working experiences was a difference with a statistically significant of .01. 3. Recommendations concerning the development of the school administrators’ role in academic administration of the World-Class Standard Schools were as follows: the school administrators should show the role and responsibility of being a leader, guidelines for developing school curriculum. Understanding with teachers about guidelines and follow up of school curriculum, teaching and evaluation and measurement according to World-Class Standard Schools. Promoting students to exchange knowledge and present their work. To benefit oneself, the community, and society.
