SATISFACTION WITH THE CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING MANAGEMENT SUBJECT OF THE SECOND - YEAR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS STUDYING A BACHELOR’S DEGREE OF ENGLISH MAJOR AT THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION, THAKSIN UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the satisfaction with the Curriculum Development and Learning Management Subject of the second - year undergraduate students studying a bachelor’s degree of English major at the Faculty of Education, Thaksin University. 30 second-year English major students from the Faculty of Education at Thaksin University. Most of the students were female, accounting for 87.5 percent, while 12.5 percent were male. The students were aged 19 or 20 years old, with the youngest being 19. The research instrument used to collect data was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The sample group was chosen using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using the following statistical methods: percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one-way analysis of variance. The results indicated that overall satisfaction with teaching management in the curriculum and learning management science among the second-year English major students was high. Satisfaction was assessed in four aspects: students, teachers, teaching activities, and teaching media and learning resources. All aspects were rated at a high level. The aspect with the highest average satisfaction was teachers, followed by teaching media and learning resources, and teaching activities. The aspect with the lowest average satisfaction was students, with statistically significant difference at level 0.06
