THE OPINIONS OF PERSONNEL ON THE LEADERSHIP OF THE PRIVATE UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATORS IN THE LOWER NORTHEASTERN REGION

Abstract

            This research aimed to study and compare the opinions of personnel classified by personal status on the leadership of private university administrators in the lower northeastern region. The sample used for the research was 167 personnel of the lower-northeastern private universities. Sampling size was determined according to Taro Yamane formula and simple randomness. The tools used for data collection were 5-level estimation scale questionnaires. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. The results of this research were as follows. 1) The overall opinions of personnel on the leadership of the private university administrators was at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean was the leadership in competency in problem-solving while the aspect with the lowest mean was the leadership in vision. 2) The results of comparison of personnel opinions on the leadership of private university administrators in the lower northeastern region classified by gender, age, education level and experience, it was found that the overall and the individual aspects were not different.
