ผลพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกลวิธีสตาร์ท (START)

The purposes of this research were: 1) To study the efficiency of learning management plan in My School Unit of grade 6 students through START strategy in accordance with the specified criterion of 75/75; 2) To compare learning achievement in My School Unit of grade 6 students through START strategy between pre and post learning; 3) to compare English reading comprehension skill through START strategy between pre and post learning.   Samples used in the research were 17 grade 6 students studying at Ban Khwao School, Kasetsomboon District, Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. They were selected through simple random sampling. The research instruments included: 1) six learning management plans using START strategy of grade 6 students with the duration of activity for 3 hours of each plan and 18 hours in total; 2) forty items of objective learning achievement test in My School Unit with 4 choices of each item; 3) twenty items of objective English reading comprehension test with 4 choices of each item. Data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent. Findings of this research were as the followings. The learning management plan through START strategy was efficient in accordance with the specified criterion of 75/75. Post learning achievement of grade 6 students through START strategy was higher than pre learning. Post learning reading skill of English reading comprehension was higher than pre learning reading skill.
