The Educational Institution Administrations According to the Four Iddhipada Dhammas in Private Vocational Education Institutions under Khonkaen Vocational Education Office

The aims of this research were: to study and compare the administration of educational institutions according to the four Iddhipada principles (Iddhipada, paths of accomplishment) in private vocational education institutions, classified by the samples’ education level and work experience; to propose a guideline for the administration of educational institutions according to the four Iddhipada principles in private vocational education institutions. This study was carried out by using mixed research methods. The sample consisted of 123 school administrators and teachers. The instruments were a questionnaire the structured interview form. Data analysis was performed by means of Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and t-test (one way ANOVA).
The research results were as follows:
1. In the educational institution administration according to the four Iddhipada principles, in general, the practice was in a high level. When classified in each aspect found that the aspect that has the most practice was the academic administration, followed by the administration of student affairs development, resource management administration rated in a high level of practice, while the lowest practice aspect was the work plan and budget administration statistically rated at a high level of practice.
2. A comparison of educational institution management according to the four Iddhipada principles in private vocational education institutions, classified by position, found that overall and all aspects there are opinions towards the administration of educational institutions according to the four Iddhipada principles differently with statistical significance level of .05. Divided by educational level, it is found that the overall opinions are significantly different at the statistical level of .05. Considering in each aspect found that academic administration, resource management and administration, work plan and cooperation were viewed with the statistical significant difference level of .05. Regarding the administration of student affairs development, there was no different. Classified according to work experience, it found that overall and in all aspects there were no statistical differences.
3. The guidelines for school administration according to the four Iddhipada principles as follows: 1) the academic administration policy should be clearly defined in the same way so that teachers have correct practices to benefit the learners; 2) the school administrators should manage the manpower of teachers and educational personnel to be appropriate to the educational institution's context in learning and teaching; 3) there should be cooperation with communities and locals in mobilizing resources for education and providing professional services to the community; 4) there should be projects and activities to develop learners that are appropriate to their age and preference and organizing activities to instill morality and ethics to students and organizing activities to enhance the capacity of learners.
