Research and Development Thai Dance Practice Skills by using the Teaching Documents of Creative Folk Dance Named Onson Phon Phisai with the Simpson’s Model Practical Skills for Students in Thai Dance Club

Abstract

The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the problem of developing practical dance skills, 2) to create and develop the efficiency of teaching materials for creative folk dance teaching, Onson Phon Phisai, 3) to compare the learning achievement before and after school, 4) to assess the skills of performing arts, 5) to assess student satisfaction. The sample group used in this research was the students of Thai dance club to 2020, Bang Dong Kam Phi School, 96 students. Selected using a specific selection technique. The research instruments were the teaching materials of creative folk dance, the Onson Phon Phisai. Learning activities plan, achievement test performing arts skills assessment and student satisfaction assessment form. The statistics used in the data analysis were standard deviation, E₁/E₂ values, E.I. values and hypothesis tested using dependent samples Test t-test.
The results showed that:
1. The problem of developing dance practice skills found that the problem was at the highest level.
2. Creation and development of the efficiency of teaching aids for creative folk dances, Onson Phon Phisai. Effective 87.65/88.53.
3. The learning achievement before and after school was significantly higher than before at the .05 level.
4. Assessment results of performing arts skills. The learners' skill in performing arts has increased to a very good level.
5. The students' satisfaction with the learning activities with teaching aids overall, it's at the highest level.
