The Learning Management According to the Four Iddhipāda Dhamma on the Subject ‘Buddhism’ in the Learning Area of Social Studies, Religion and Culture of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools (General Education), Kalasin Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the conditions of Buddhist learning management  2) to study the results of Buddhist learning management of students with GPA. Age and grade level difference 3) To offer guidelines for managing buddhist learning according to the Four Iddhipāda. This research used a mixed research model. the population of which included 289 high school students. A sample of 165 persons used in  the research, using simple random sampling, Target groups: administrators and teachers from 9 schools, 18 people, using purposive sampling,  the sample size is determined according to Krejcie & Morgan's ready-made table, the tool used to collect data is a structured interview and a five-level estimation scale questionnaire. statistics used to analyze the data including frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, comparing learning management results using t-test and F-test (One-way ANOVA).
The research results were as follows:
1. The conditions of learning in Buddhist subjects according to the Four Iddhipāda, as a whole have a very high average (X̅ = 4.04), and when considered on a per-side basis, there is a very high average in all aspects. Sort the highest average to the lowest average. These include the Chanda (aspiration) (X̅ = 4.31), the Viriya (energy) (X̅ = 4.29), the Vīmaṁsā (investigation) (X̅ = 4.00), and the Citta (thoughtfulness) (X̅ = 3.57), respectively.
2. The results of the study of learning management in the Buddhist course according to the Four Iddhipāda of students with different average grades, ages and grade levels. Overall and each aspect had no different opinions.
3. The suggestions for learning management according to the Four Iddhipāda principles are that (1) Chanda: there should focus on learning management that makes students aware and interested in learning (2) Viriya: there should focus on managing a variety of learning, Encourage learners to take responsibility for their studies. (3) Citta: there should focus on teaching learners to think critically and to able to use intelligence to solve problems. (4) Vīmaṁsā: there should focus on teaching students to use their intelligence to reflect on cause and effect and be able to apply the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas in the study and daily life.
