The use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma Principles by School Administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Education Service Area 4

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4; 2) to compare the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4, It's a Mixed Methodology Research, classified by the samples’ genders, educational degrees, and working experiences; 3) to study the guideline of the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4. The sample group consisted of 278 teachers and the target group of 6 people. The research tools were questionnaires, interview forms, has a confidence value of 0.82, statistical data analysis including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (t-test, Independent Samples) and (F- one-way ANOVA test).
The research results were as follows:
1. The use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area was at a high level in both overall and aspect perspectives (= 4.50, S.D. = 0.24).
2. The use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4, classified by the samples’ genders was different in both overall and aspect perspectives. Classified by the samples’ educational degrees and working experiences, there was no difference in both perspectives.
3. The guideline for the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary
Educational Service Area 4 1. Is that in terms of Mettā, administrators should have good intentions for their subordinates, give advice on work. 2. In terms of Karuṇā, administrators should be kind to their subordinates with sincerity. 3. In terms of Muditā, Administrators should encourage their subordinates who are knowledgeable and capable of working in self-improvement for progress. 4. In terms of Upekkhā, Executives should have good intentions towards their subordinates without bias, fairness in administration, equality.
