Abstract

The book review of "Buddhism in Crisis: Think Ahead, Stay Informed" is a discourse on Dhamma by Venerable Phra Payutto, with the objective of critiquing and presenting the strengths and weaknesses of the Dhamma teachings compiled. Venerable Phra Payutto aims to help readers understand various issues that pose crises to Buddhism, such as (1) the true reasons behind the establishment of the Ministry of Buddhism, (2) the importance of the Sangha Act, (3) the response letter to Dr. Bhichai Chulsuksant on the topic of "Consciousness," and (4) reflections on the study of Thailand from the book "Phra Mano."
