An Analysis Study of Buddhist Ethicst in Online Media use of Youths in Sikaew Sub-District, Muang Roi Et District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

This research the objectives were; 1) study the use of online media among the youth of the Sikaew Subdistrict community, 2) study the principles of Buddhist ethics and be able to apply the knowledge to be knowledgeable in using online media, 3) analyze knowledge to be knowledgeable in using media. Online of youth in Ban SiKaew community, SiKaew Subdistrict, Mueang Roi Et District Roi Et Province according to Buddhist ethics, this research is qualitative research. By studying from the Tripitaka academic documents and related research the research tool used in-depth interviews. Then the research results are presented using descriptive analysis.
The results of the research were as follows:     
1. The use of online media by the youth of the SiKaew Subdistrict community found that the youth in the Subdistrict community Sikaew uses social media in his daily life. It greatly influences the thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors of youth. Use it mindfully to bring happiness to oneself and the public
2. Principles of Buddhist ethics and being able to apply knowledge to be aware of the use of online media. It was found that the principles of Buddhist ethics related to being aware of the use of online media. which includes Consciousness - recollection and awareness Superego - shame and fear of sin Yonisomanasikāra - consider carefully Know about online media, etc.
3. Analyze knowledge to be aware of the use of online media by youth in the Ban Sikaew community. It was found that social media causes youth in the Sikaew Subdistrict community to change both behavior and new ideas. Online media has both negative aspects, such as online gambling. Selling illegal things and the positive side is good for youth. Use knowledge from online media to benefit such as studying online sell products online do activities to help society, etc.
