Food Ethics in the Future Foodways

Abstract

This research article aims to: 1) Study the meaning, development, and value of future food systems. 2) Analyze food ethics within the context of future food systems. The study employs a documentary research methodology, collecting data from books, documents, articles, and research related to food ethics and future food systems. The gathered data is analyzed and synthesized in a descriptive analytical format.
The research findings revealed that:
1. The meaning and development of future foodways root in the food system and problems which arise all the time including the prospective problem in the future. In other hand, innovation and technology will help to solve this system to more sustainability and justice for both consumer and environment. So, future foodways must creat value in production processes, make food, and consumption.
2. Food Ethics in the Future Foodways is the way to creat security, justice and sovereignty of food. To creat the security is included adequacy, availability, usefulness and stability. To creat justice is to bring the local labor back to their home and give them the right to living and farming on their own land. And, to creat the sovereignty is cancelling the commercial liberation then aware of labour right and animal right include distribute the agriculture technology in equality.
