Factors Affecting the Performance of Finance Department Employees in an Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company in Rojana Industry, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

This research the objectives are to 1) study the comparison of the performance of employees classified by different personal factors 2) study the factors of knowledge and financial ability that affect the performance of employees. It is an exploratory survey. The sample group consisted of 120 employees of the finance department of an automobile parts manufacturing company in Rojana Industrial Estate, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, using a purposive method. The research instrument was a questionnaire. It has a reliability value of .97. Statistics used in data analysis include percentage, mean, and standard deviation. by one-way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis.
The research results found that:
1. Employees have overall work efficiency at a high level. When comparing personal factors, it was found that employees with age Education level and different work experiences have different performance efficiency with statistical significance at the .01 level.
2. Factors of financial knowledge and ability all 4 aspects: 1) financial knowledge, 2) understanding of using accounting programs, 3) ability to analyze financial statements, affecting operational efficiency. Employee work Statistically significant at the .01 level, with a predictive influence of 72 percent.
