Public Cooperation in Preventing and Resolving Drug Problems within the Responsibility Area of Phetkasem Metropolitan Police Station

This research objectives were 1) To study the public cooperation in preventing and solving drug problems within the Responsibility Area of Phetkasem Metropolitan Police Station, and 2) to compare the public cooperation in preventing and solving drug problems within the Responsibility Area of Phetkasem Metropolitan Police Station, classified by personal factors. This was quantitative. The sample consisted of 395 people, aged 18 years and older residing in the responsibility area of Phetkasem Metropolitan Police Station. Taro Yamane's formula was used to calculate the data. The instrument was a questionnaire. The statistical methods used to analyze the data included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.
The research findings revealed that:
1. the overall public cooperation in preventing and solving drug problems within the responsibility area of Phetkasem Metropolitan Police Station was at a moderate level When considering each aspect, it was found that all aspects were at a moderate level, with the evaluation aspect having the highest mean, followed by the planning aspect, and the aspect with the lowest mean was the implementation aspect, respectively.
2. a comparison of the public cooperation in preventing and solving drug problems within responsibility area of Phetkasem Metropolitan Police Station was made. Categorized by personal factors, it was found that differences in gender, age, marital status, education level, occupation, and income resulted in statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) in public cooperation in preventing and solving drug problems.
