Factors Affecting the Perception of Rights and Welfare among Conscripts under the 3rd Army Area Somdej Phra Naresuan Maharat Camp Phitsanulok Province

The objectives of this research article are to: 1) study the level of perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area, 2) study factors affecting the perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area, and 3) study guidelines for creating perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area. The research was conducted using a mixed-method design, combining quantitative and qualitative research. The sample group consisted of 300 conscripts under Somdej Phra Naresuan Maharat Camp, Phitsanulok Province, and 7 key informants. The data were collected using a questionnaire and an interview form and analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, multiple regression analysis using the Enter Method for independent variable selection, and descriptive analysis. The research findings revealed that: 1. The level of perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area overall was at a high level. 2. Factors affecting the perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area found that the overall were at a high level. There were 3 variables in total, but there was 1 variable, which was personal factors, affecting the perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level, jointly predicting 45.3 percent. 3. Guidelines for creating perception of rights and welfare among conscripts under the 3rd Army Area found that the guidelines for creating perception of rights and welfare among conscripts emphasized on 3 principles: 1) communication and providing information through diverse channels, 2) building motivation and image, and 3) upgrading benefits and quality of life.
